Cancellation and Refund Policy
Last Updated: 10 January 2026
At On Time Legal Solutions, we strive to provide high-quality, time-bound legal consulting and strategic solutions. Because our services involve professional time, resource allocation, and often third-party or government filings, we have established the following policy regarding cancellations and refunds.
1. Cancellation Policy
We understand that legal needs can change. However, once a service engagement begins, resources are immediately committed to your case.
- Before Commencement: You may request to cancel your order within 4 hours of payment or before any work has commenced on your file (whichever is earlier) for a full refund, minus any payment gateway processing fees.
- After Commencement: If you wish to cancel after work has started (e.g., initial research, drafting, or consultation), the service cannot be fully cancelled. We reserve the right to retain a cancellation fee of 20% of the professional fee, plus any “earned fees” for work already performed.
- Change of Mind: If a client changes their mind after the legal process has been initiated with government authorities or third parties, the service cannot be cancelled, and no refund will be issued.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are typically only granted under the following circumstances:
- Service Failure: If we are unable to provide the agreed-upon service due to a deficiency on our end (following an internal investigation).
- Duplicate Payment: In the event of a technical error resulting in duplicate payments, the excess amount will be refunded in full.
- Amicable Resolution: If the matter for which you sought legal assistance is resolved independently within 3 days of payment and before we have initiated any formal drafting or filing.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following costs are strictly non-refundable:
- Government Fees & Taxes: Any fees paid to government bodies (e.g., court fees, stamp duties, filing fees, or GST) cannot be refunded once paid.
- Third-Party Costs: Fees paid to external experts, vendors, or couriers.
- Earned Fees: Compensation for the time, energy, and manpower already invested by our legal professionals.
- Misinterpretation: Dissatisfaction arising from a misunderstanding of the legal process or an unfavorable legal outcome (as results in legal matters can never be guaranteed).
4. Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Submit Request: Send an email to [Insert Contact Email – e.g., info@ontimelegalsolutions.com] with your Order ID, proof of payment, and a clear reason for the request.
- Investigation: Our team will review the progress of your case and the validity of the request within 5–7 business days.
- Approval & Settlement: If approved, the refund (after deducting applicable processing fees and earned costs) will be initiated.
- Timeline: Refunds are typically credited to the original payment method within 15 to 30 working days, depending on your bank’s processing time.
5. Special Concessions
In line with our commitment to social empowerment, refund requests from Defense Personnel, Farmers, Women, and Divyangjan will be reviewed with additional sensitivity; however, the non-refundability of government and earned fees remains applicable.
